GCCM is now enrolling families for cooking classes. We are offering Free Family Cooking Classes to families with children enrolled at a N.O. College Prep Schools (Crocker, Cohen and/or Sylvanie Williams). Parents and children will learn side-by-side how to cook healthier foods, how to cook together, how to prepare healthy foods inexpensively and MORE!

Tickets for our Celebrity Chef Dinner Series for 2015-2016 are available! We have some exciting guest chefs this year including:

We are so excited to have such a great lineup! All dinners are multi-course and include wine pairings in an intimate atmosphere right in our kitchen! This is our annual fundraiser and all profits go directly into our programming so we can continue to offer culinary medicine cooking classes FREE to the public. CME Classes OPEN!

Many people have been asking about future dates for our CME courses. We currently have two upcoming fall events scheduled and are working on next year’s agenda. Sign Up for Continuing Medical Education French Quarter Festival and Jazz and Heritage Festival Weekends: 

We are excited to be offering continuing medical education at the Goldring Center for Culinary Medicine over three weekends in April and May.   The first event will be the weekend of French Quarter Festival, April 9 to 11, 2015 and the second and third events the weekends of April 24 and May 1.  We are offering two modules and will add more as demand requires.

If you are interested in signing up for more than two classes please email me at tharlan@tulane.edu with details of your optimal times that you can participate.  In the past we have added classes on Thursdays as well as later in the day on Friday and Saturday.

The Goldring Center for Culinary Medicine will host four dinners throughout the coming year, featuring celebrity chefs cooking in the teaching kitchen at the ReFresh site on North Broad. Join us for a multi-course meal designed specifically for this special series and cooked by five of the finest and most innovative chefs in New Orleans today.

Our culinary students from Johnson & Wales College of Culinary Arts and medical students from the Tulane University School of Medicine will participate and support at the dinners.
